King of the Hill

Show Summary

Aired: 1997 - Unknown
Show Type: Animated
Country of Origin: US

King of the Hill is another animation hit for Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge, who also voices the starring character Hank Hill, a propane gas salesman in the fictional town Arlen, Texas. Hank is often besieged by the idiosyncrasies of society, but he finds (some) serenity in his home-life with his wife, substitute Spanish teacher Peggy, his awkward son Bobby and his live-in niece-in-law Luanne Platter. Adding flavor to the ordinary dish the series serves are Hank's friends, divorcee military barber Bill Dauterive, paranoid Dale Gribble (with an obsession with Government conspiracy theories) and gibberish spouting Boomhauer.

One episode I decided to count as my all-time favorites is the one about the retired actor giving Bobby his ventriloquism dummy, and we also learn that Dale has a fear of ventriloquism dummies since he was a kid. :)

i love dale and all of his stupid conspiracies... and breeding show turtles that he never shows and pretending to be rusty shackleford.

i like the episode where they go to louisiana and stay with bill's family and they're all creepy incestuous southern plantation folk. then bobby starts taking on the manerisms of the one creepy guy with the thin mustache.
