ALF (or Alien Life Form) is a creature from Planet Melmac that crash landed on earth, and is adopted/taken in by an otherwise normal Earth family. A comedic sitcom that featured episodes with everything from mundane things like getting people to like you, to close calls with the government, all with the added spice of Alf making life more difficult and interesting for all involved. The wise cracking alien, with a taste for cats (and we don't mean as pets) spent many years as a beloved TV icon for a good reason.

I loved Alf as a kid. Even had an Alf teddy... I must try and find that again.

ALF is my all time favourite sitcom from the eighties ... i had every show recorded but only got 1 tape left.... the funniest thing about ALF was , that on my oppinion it is the only show which was actualy better in german than in the original english version... mmh if u didn`t recognize i`m from germany....... HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I was always disturbed by this show. It wasn't even funny either...I don't understand how it stayed on the air so long.
