Actually 2 hours long its first year, then dropping down ti 90 mins the second, the show ran 4 (then 3) segments. In 1980 the show was shortened to 30 minutes and renamed The Plastic Man/Baby Plas Super Comedy Show.
This show was shown right after The Superfriends on the ABC Network. It featured various adventures of the DC Comics superhero Plastic Man. This show featured many adventures in different segments: Plastic Man, Baby Plas, Plastic Family, Mighty Man & Yukk, Fangface And Fangpuss, and Rickety Rocket.

"Plastic Man" was about the stretchy superhero himself.

"Baby Plas" was about Plastic Man and Penny's baby son.

"Plastic Family" focused on the adventures of all three of the Plastic Family.

"Mighty Man & Yukk" was about a tiny Superhero and his dog that could talk and wears a doghouse because he is so ugly that he could practically kill with his ugliness.

"Fangface And Fangpuss" was about a werewolf and his cousin's (who is also a werewolf) adventures.

"Rickety Rocket" was about an artificially inteligent space ship that was created by a group of African-American kid geniuses who solve mysteries in the future.

The show was created by Ruby-Spears.

i remember him as a kid, baby plastic man too. My sisters & brother would watch it w/ me & we all got a kick out of him. Too bad cartoons aren't like those anymore.

The first season of the show was pretty good, but to me it
went downhill when they added Baby Plas.

I remember watching reruns of this when I was younger, loved it.
