They show this show on Sci Fi now. I love it. Too bad the remake of it, last year, made it to even less episodes than the original.

this show didnt spend much time
on special effects, but still managed
to intrest many with its story lines
and weird hummor. great show,
watched one of the new ones...it sucked,
had NOTHING in common with the original,
and was a waste of time.

This was a great series that aired on the alphabet network. I have the DVD which has all episodes un-cut and without Cal Worthington or Mr. Whipple to disrupt your viewing. Darren McGavin was great, I also own two seersucker suits which are like the one on the series.

The vampire episode was my favorite. When Kolchak opens the fridge and they show the blood in the bottles....man that creeped me out. You never knew when the vampire would pop up. Was it in the house?? In the yard?? Great suspense.
