Movie Summary

Released: 1985
Ben Crandall, an alien-obsessed kid, dreams one night of a circuit board. Drawing out the circuit, he and his friends Wolfgang and Darren set it up, and discover they have been given the basis for a starship. Setting off in the ThunderRoad, as they name their ship, they find the aliens Ben hopes they would find... but are they what they seem?

I really liked this movie as a kid, probably still now...the ONLY problem is the aliens...they were so stupid LOL, I wish they were more serious looking, but oh well still cool movie.

I loved this movie and still do, although the end was horrible!, but the rest of the movie was great! I remember me and my friends would try to build spaceships as kids! This movie was a childhood favorite!! along with the quest, tron, batteries not included, and last starfighter.

I had an Explorers movie magazine which went behind-the-scenes and featured interviews with the stars. I don't know what happened to it, but I wish I still had it.

just watched again. boy that really helped with my memory. i want to build a spaceship like i did as a boy.
