Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird

Movie Summary

Released: 1985
When a pesky social worker thinks Big Bird should be with his own kind (other birds) instead of living on the diverse Sesame Street, she sends him to a foster with a family of Dodos, but he is not happy and runs away. Big Bird begins a long adventure wandering the country. In the mean time, his friends search for him to bring him back.

Ah man, that was THE movie that I wouldn't stop watching as a little kid. It was ALL about Follow That Bird. I loved it to the point that I was posessive of it, lmao (I wouldn't let this other kid watch it with me. Not sure why?). I have it on dvd now, and have the song, "Upsidedown World" on my computer. :) It's one of those movies with songs that I still know by heart to this day. "Aint No Road To Long" - Who wasn't jamming along to that as a little kid? :-p

Tossed Salad!!! For several years after that, I honestly thought that's what a "tossed" salad was, thanks to that movie. ;)
