Movie Summary

Released: 1986
A painter falls asleep beneath a magical elm tree and awakens with magical powers that allow him to communicate with the creatures of the forest. In the limited time that he possesses these powers, he must help save the forest from the threat of the evil Cactus King.

I've been going back and looking up all the old cartoons from when I was a kid. I could not remember the name of this movie for the life of me. All I remembered was it had something to do with a magic paint brush and a forest. Great movie from what I can recall as a child.

My little sister and I thought the name of this cartoon was the Magic Paintbrush. When we googled it and got a bunch of sites, but none was the correct one. Somehow we ended up on a website with someone asking about the Magic Paintbrush and that is how we found out the correct name. Elm Enchanted Forest. We weren't even close!!!
