Movie Summary

Released: 1987
To try and get out of his nerdy set, Ronald offers Cindy, cheerleader and school's most popular girl, a deal. She urgently needs $1,000 which he will let her have if she dates him for a month. Being desperate she grudgingly accepts, and soon starts to actually like him. But she finds his plan of becoming number one guy has worked and he has other fish to fry.

Patrick Dempsey and Amanda Bearse. I loved this movie and have it on DVD. It made me feel like being a dork in school was OK. But I never got the really hot cheerleader. Maybe I should have paid her.........

Yes Patrick Dempsey!! He was too fine to be a dork, but appreciated the role. I wanted her Jetta so bad when I was little!!

Great Movie,I still have the video I had a big crush on Courtney Gains back in the 80's especially when he played Malachai in Children Of The Corn,I still think he was gorgeous back then

her car wasn't a jetta it was a cabrio, I wanted it too. My first car was as close as I could get a 77' Rabit (not convertable)!
