Michael Biehn is one of my most favourite actors ever.I grew up watching The Terminator and Aliens and he was totally outstanding in both.Now that I am a bit more noligable on movies and actors I noticed that although Michael Biehn stared in those great films he never really become huge movie star unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger which was always slated for his acting abilities.He was probably more well known in the 80s with the likes of Bill Paxton as well in allot of low budget films but also very popular.
Michael Biehn was born on July 31, 1956 in Anniston, Alabama, grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and at age 14 moved with his family to Lake Havasu, Arizona, where he won a drama scholarship to the University of Arizona. He left prematurely two years later to pursue an acting career in Hollywood.


I couldn't believe it when I saw his name in his filmography and saw grease and I went on a mission to find pics of him and when I saw him I couldn't believe it.Although I cant stand this film its cool to know that he stared in it even if you only see glimpses of him .



Although I've never seen this film this was his first big role that put his name on the map.Douglas is a lonesome record salesman and a true fan of the actress Sally Ross. Every day he writes her gleaming letters of love. But the only response he gets are formal letters. So his love turns into hatred.



I think this film over all is quite good.I didn't think that it was any thing special but very watchable with Michael Biehn playing a head case Military captain John Alexander that's in a gang.The gang included Bill Paxton which was quite good to see showing them work together for the first time.I couldn't believe how he could play such an evil person, to then play his next role which would be remembered forever.
Will arrives for his last year at Military Academy, in the Deep South USA, in the 1960's. A black student, Pearce, has been accepted, for the first time and Will is asked to keep an eye out for the inevitable racism. The racists come in the form of The Ten, a secret group of the elite students. They want Pearce to leave on his own free will, but are prepared to torture him to make it 'his free will'.



"Come with me if you wonna live"
He hit the big-time when he was cast as Kyle Reese, the man sent back through time to stop Arnold Schwarzenegger in James Cameron's The Terminator (1984). For me this is one of the most memorable characters he's ever played in his career.This established a good working relationship with Cameron, a relationship that should have catapulted Biehn to international stardom but never happened which really surprised me.
In the Year of Darkness, 2029, the rulers of this planet devised the ultimate plan. They would reshape the Future by changing the Past. The plan required something that felt no pity. No pain. No fear. Something unstoppable. They created THE TERMINATOR.

"Eat This"
He starred in Cameron's next film Aliens which was a rip roaring sc-fi classic and one of the best action movies of the 80's.
The original actor to play Hicks was James Remar (What Lies Beneath, 48hrs, etc). He had a falling out with James Cameron apparently Remar had a drug problem at the time, which had something to do with it.
Cameron was having all kinds of trouble with the crew at the time, and probably wasn't in the mood to deal with arguments from actors as well.In the end, James Remar would have been great in the role, but Michael Biehn made it his own. This is another cult character every one remembers like with Kyle Reese and he made an amazing performance again.It was great to see him as one of the grunts and quiet to become the heroic leader.

I can remember this film as a kid but I haven't watched it in a very long time.I had to put this film in because I remember Michael Biehn's character going through real hard times and you really feel sorry him.He plays a really sensitive guy in this which he can do really well.
Michael Beihn is Garnet Montrose, a wounded soldier who returns from the war, horribly scarred, he now feels he is too hideous for his beloved, Ann. The only one who will see him is Quintus, played by Michael Beach, the black worker who minds him and runs errands for him. For the early part of the twentieth century, Garnet has taken a risk and taught Quintus how to read. Enter Daventry, played by Patrick Dempsey.



Michael Biehn stars as Russell Quinn in a supernatural thriller with Demi Moore a pregnant woman who begins to believe that the boarder in the apartment next door may have some bizarre, end-of-the-world plans for her baby.The film is stylish, and great in managing an apocalyptic tone. Prochnow's is very creepy, and we realize that this man means business but his motives are never really made clear. Although his performance was never a great one he played his character well and acted in another good film. I also found this film very creepy especially with Jurgen Prochnow which he plays them character really well so if you like end-of-the-world films then check it out because its great.




He works with amazing James Cameron again in another great performance as the unstable Navy SEAL officer Lt. Coffey.He was absolutely great in this film showing his evil side again which made me notice that he plays brilliant heroes just as well as his villains which shows his unique acting abilities. This film was excellent if you've watched it so there's no complaments needed about it but defiantly a another great working relationship with Cameron again.I always remember his death scene when he's on the edge of the cliff and falls deeper into the darkness until his sub explodes which was very scary.



I really couldn't believe it when I saw him in Terminator 2. I saw this scene which was deleted back in 2000 and it really made me quiet and made me think this wasn't in the original film because I never realized that it was cut out of the movie.Although he said it wasn't part of the story telling and he wasn't surprised it was cut from the film I still loved it.I felt it was a really good scene especially for a dream sequence to show a memorable character which you thought you were never going to see again.It was a very emotional scene showing the love relationship between Reese and Sara Conner which takes you back to the first movie.



K2 (1992)
Although I have never seen this film I always remember the original poster which I thought was very cool when I was a kid.I remember seeing it when the good old videos were still around going into the video shop looking at it saying to myself that's looks a really good film to watch.Although the film has bad ratings its hard to believe with a great looking poster.This film really reminds me of Vertical Limit and although I have yet to see K2 I don't think it would be up to the standards as it maybe because of the time it was made and a low budget but are wait and see when I watch it.This is Research I found about the movie.Michael Biehn plays Taylor who is good friends with a guy named Harold and mountain climbers. While climbing one day, they meet a man who it seems might be attempting to climb K2, the world's second-highest peak. Always pushy, Taylor bugs the man for a spot on the team, claiming that he and Harold are good enough.I read somewhere that Michael Biehn plays a very big headed character which put me off a little because I would've preferred him to more of a hero type than that which I thought would of been better considering the plot.



I thought he was extremely good in this as the quick firing outlaw Johnny Ringo. Although he played the villain in this film he really stood out showing his great charisma as a talented gunslinger.The most memorable scene was when he seized up Val Kilmer's character Doc Holliday which I thought was excellent when they start talking Latin you really get the testosterone going thinking there goanna go at it but a great scene over all.I was disappointed that he died again in this film. I have also noticed that his character never reach the end of the movie which is a drag but I suppose it works for the movie.



Alien3
I was so disappointed when I was a kid to see him not return. I always wondered why until now when they have the DVD boxset called the Quadrilogy with all the makings on,if you haven't got it you should own it because its excellent.They did not want use his character because they felt that Ripley should be a loner and ended up killing his character off which was a real shame and also killing off Newt the young girl.
His character in Alien 3 was originally going to show him have a chest-burster coming out of him, Hicks. A replica of the actor with his chest torn open was created, but after Biehn discovered this, he threatened to sue the producers for using his likeness without his consent, and the idea was dropped. Later, the producers paid him to use his picture at the beginning of the film for the computer sequence. Apparently he received more money for use of this one image than for his role in Aliens (1986).




He was cast as Peter Parker/Spiderman in James Cameron's abandoned "Spiderman" in 1994. The film was deemed too technically challenging at the time, and Cameron made True Lies (1994) instead.It would of been great to see how James Cameron would of made it, when it comes to action he is the man and it probably would of been much more epic.I think Michael Biehn would of been excellent as Peter Parker,I couldn't see them using the dorky version of Peter Parker but he would of been more sensitive as Peter Parker and more intense as Spiderman mixing his acting abilities like in The Terminator.



Michael Biehn plays a character called Jack Wallach.I never really saw all of this TV show but he plays another hero similar to his memorable roles as Hicks and Reese which was great to see.The bits I did see looked really good but if you were to compare it to Armageddon there would be no comparison which one is better.Its sometimes good to see TV and films that are low budget that give a good impacts and are very enjoyable to watch like Asteroid.
With the discovery of an incoming asteroid, the government of America formulate a plan to destroy it. When the plan fails, all the world can do is wait. The main impact zone is revealed to be Dallas, Texas. Generally, the plot follows the lives and reactions of several characters: an astronomer, her father, her son, two fire-fighters from Kansas, two young doctors in Dallas and the heads of the government agency in charge of the situation.



The rock Commander Anderson
It was great to see Michael in a big budget movie again especially acting along side Sean Connery but I didnt like his performance as the movie went on.He started off really well communicating which way to go into Alcatraz and telling Nickolas Cage that he's coming along with the marines but then his performance changed and he became to much of a hard ass.He plays Marines really well but instead of him showing more of a sensitive side to his role he was just a hard ass all the way through until he died.It really annoyed me when he died though because I found out he was in it and then I had a really annoying feeling that he would die mainly because he wasn't a main character.I felt that he could been used further in the film which would would've been great.



He stars in this brilliant game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun another great strategy game along with my favourite Command & Conquer: Red Alert.Theres a few small video segments with him in which are great to watch especially since its a game which I would never of thought he would be in but all credit to him.
If you choose GDI you get to play field commander Michael McNeil and try to rid the world of Kane and his Brotherhood of NOD. Fighting around the world (That means: North America and Europe), gaining the help of the Forgotten and enlisting them in the massive battle. And in the end the good guys win and the Kodiak flies to from the night side to the day side of Earth. If you choose NOD you get to play Anton Slavik and try to take over the Brotherhood of NOD and make the day that 'The Technology of Peace Will Flow Throughout the Land' come. Then the presumed dead Kane returns and you play under him taking the fight to the GDI's territory for world domin...I mean peace. And in the end the bad guys win and the Montauk can't fly from the night side to the day side of the Earth because the Earth is glowing green.


Michael Biehn has starred in a few memorable films such as Cherry Falls and The Art Of War and The and his most recent film Clockstoppers but they never really made any impact unlike his earlier films which was a real shame.He is in another film that really interest me at the moment called Grind house which Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez are teaming up to direct with a great cast.Its split in to two parts,I'm hoping that will be a goodin if he plays good part in it.
I'm so surprised he never really become a superstar after some of his characters he has played and I really feel that he deserves it.I read that he wanted to concentrate on spending more time with his family which is totally understandable.Its just a shame when he could of been in so many more memorable movies but are always remember him most as Kyle Reese and Dwayne hicks.
