    Not since the days of both "The Banana Splits Adventure Hour" and "The Skatebirds" was compared to this one, "The Funtastic World Of Hanna-Barbera" was a weekday/weekend morning variety hour cartoon block that take H-B fans and their viewers' families to a funtastic universe that is Hanna-Barbera, the live action/animated series got it's debut on Sunday, September 15th of 1985. The show's original host was H-B's legendary superstar and Huckleberry Hound Show's cast member Yogi Bear (in his live action form) and his Funtastic Treasure Hunt Crew members: Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss Lion, and his mentor/friend Huckleberry "Huck" Hound, all voiced by the late great Daws Butler. The original lineup to the 1st season was: "The Challenge Of The GoBots", "The Jetsons", "Paw Paws", "Yogi's Treasure Hunt", "Galtar And The Golden Lance", and "HBTV".

    The series was somehow became a phenomenon, and in 1986 they added "The Flintstone Kids" featuring the return of Captain Caveman from "Captain Caveman And The Teen Angels" and "Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics", and "The New Adventures Of Jonny Quest" which was a big return for H-B's 1st action packed young hero after the 1964 series was finished.

    Throughout the show's run it reintroduced to popular H-B stars like "The Snorks", "Richie Rich" and Scooby in his new series "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo", but it also introduced new H-B stars like "Fantastic Max", "Paddington Bear", "Sky Commanders", "The Further Adventures Of SuperTed", "Midnight Patrol: Adventures In The Dream Zone", "Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventures" and the list goes on, as well as The Funtastic World's hosts like The Down And Dirty Dinosaurs and Disney's "Kids Incorporated" stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kenny Ford.

    The series end it's run in September of 1994 after nine seasons but even though the show's gone the legacy will live on even to this day, as VJ Yogi Bear would say at the end of the series he'll say "We'll See You Next Time!"
