This must be from the era when everything awesome and maybe not so awesome somehow got their own Macaroni and Cheese (Rugrats, DC Superheroes, Scooby-Doo, etc.) I miss those days.

SOME FUN FACTS (or, 6 Degrees of Toon Seperation): This commercial was produced by cartoonist extraordinare Garrett Ho, who gave the Loony Tunes a "makeover" for the 90's, and produced Disney's "Bonkers!", a show that competed with, and debuted on the same day as, "Animaniacs". Coincidentally, an allusion to Bonkers was made on the very first "Animaniacs" episode, a passing mention by Slappy Squirrel (her first appearance, natch). Jim Cummings, the voice of Bonkers, would eventually end up being heard on a later ep of "Animaniacs", in a Slappy Squirrel segment, coincidentally, playing Daniel Boone. He would return on two more eps of the show, first playing Taz (a role he originally played on "Tazmania", and would end up playing over again on occasion in future Loony Tunes features), then playing Attila the Hun on one of the last eps of the show, where yet another allusion to Bonkers was made. Ironically, that particular ep was meant as a jab at Disney (from the Amblin staff, ip) for their allegedly pompous approach to marketing their feature films.

That was a good ad but I never really cared for any of the Kraft mac and cheese ads.

I hated these Kraft Cheese and Macaroni commercials AND the "I've got the blues" commercials. Animaniacs were cool, though.

    • "Goodnight America, wherever you are", I used to watch this show with my dad every week when it came on, and I remember that line from it....
