I absolutely LOVED this commercial! Still, I practice moderation when it comes to that crap. I preach healthy eating to my son. He will definetly be watching this clip. Great message! Classic commercial!

I cannot stop watching this, it's so unbelievable!

My ABC station still shows this PSA on Saturday mornings.

The point's obvious. Mayo and dressing is really fattening, so they don't want kids glooping it on.

lol i hate mayo but i need ketchup

I remember this comercial, and today I still add all those ingredients to my food, when I first saw this comercial when I was young, my mother told me that it was just ok to add little, and that the comercial was saying not to put too much stuff on the food. Besides the comercial lies when it says that food is better when you can see it, I still like to "drown my food". This was just one of those health comercials.

I don't care about not drowning your food! As a matter of fact, I'll even pour a huge puddle of hot sauce on my food and I'll eat it anyway cause I like spicy food!

sure, save the potato from drowning in sour cream, but by all means, let him fall flat on his face

This is mostly for kids though, Chow. Those li'l buggers drench their food. The PSA was probably for those around 6-10 when kids still imagine that everything has feelings.

I was sorta boring when I was 7; had to have my food plain. I still do.

I see what you mean rick2tails but seriously is a PSA for this really needed? Its just common sense that people shouldn't put mass amounts of condiments on their food anyway. People should put on the amount of condiments that they feel is okay for them. Its just a stupid PSA no matter how you look at it.

I'm not sure, but I think "Don't drown your food" means "Don't waste your food, or it'll drown in garbage."

hahaha it was funny when that vegetable was crying for his life when he was about to drown in salad dressing!
KI Simpson Posted 12 years 1 month ago
What the hell was the point of this!?
Celeste Posted 12 years 1 month ago
I don't think that's what they meant by "Don't drown your food" I think they mean everything in moderation.
Daikun Posted 12 years 3 months ago
What the hell kind of PSA was that? Dressings taste great on your food.
