Whose idea was it to let David Lynch create a commercial for Nickelodeon?
    ohdela1 Posted 8 years 4 months ago
    the heartbeat is too loud
applepwnz Posted 9 years 13 days ago
the part around 0:23 used to really scare me as a kid!
smuggy Posted 10 years 13 days ago
I have never seen this one & glad I didn't see as a kid.
    Man, that was creepy.

It seems like I saw this back in the day, because I remembered how it went when I saw it. But I don't remember it well at all. Anyway, I agree with you. This one is scary, creepy, freaky, whatever you wanna call it. I prefer the pinchface over this one. The worst thing for me is the heartbeat sound.

And then there's the primitive world watcher, but we know about that.
Skylar Posted 10 years 11 months ago
Man, it's like this one was designed to be as sinister as possible.
    99Centsplease Posted 11 years 1 month ago
This seems more like a promo for some newsmagazine than an image campaign for a kids' network.
    rnorred06 Posted 11 years 1 month ago
Nick had a few creepy commercials back then.

This bumper used to make me kinda nervous but it doesn't much anymore.
crazylittleqt Posted 11 years 7 months ago
You know, this never USED to scare me, but I think it's creepy now!

It never scared me, although it was odd how they made it slow and with heartbeats. I thought it was somethin to tell kids to slow down... a lot lol.

This bumper is about Rocko getting appendcitis.

"I think I have a problem with me stomach!"
    SquidMan93 Posted 11 years 10 months ago
The scariest parts of this bumper are the freaky buzzing sounds near the end. Scary.
    SquidMan93 Posted 11 years 10 months ago
I was freaked out the first time I saw this bumper.
andrewrae Posted 11 years 10 months ago
What a hell were those people thinking when they came up with this spot? What is it supposed to mean? All I know is that it turned out to be a creepy one...
Daikun Posted 12 years 5 months ago
That commercial is just disturbing on all levels. The creepy music...the logo coming at you with a heart-beat sound...the low-pitched narration...the dark color of the footage... How the hell did Nick think it was OK to air this on a network targeted at kids?

I remember I used to have a habit of keeping the channel on nickelodeon before I turned off the tv, so I always used to be afraid that when I woke up and turned on the TV, this bump would come on. It never did.

This didn't exactly scare me, but it WAS very damn annoying! Then again, Prickelodeon has been known to do that! Cartoon Network is better!

    Yup! CN had TOM!
YuYuYuuki Posted 7 months 20 days ago
I had a TOM stuffy I used to sleep with every night.
Everglot Posted 12 years 6 months ago
Wow, is it just me or this ID scared everyone. This ID used to freak me out, also. It also scared my younger cousin. She told me.
CheezNapkin Posted 12 years 6 months ago
It used to scare me too, but only the first part of the thing.
    jarjar23 Posted 12 years 6 months ago
OMG, this used to scare the crap out of me. I remember needing to turn away from the TV and hold my ears everytime I saw this freakin thing!
