    Captain_Redbeard Posted 8 years 4 months ago

This was back when Nick cared about its history. Now they couldn't give a crap.

I miss the anteater. He was one of my favorite bumpers. He'd slurp the spaghetti and then burp.
TheNetworkZ Posted 8 years 9 months ago
I always loved this whenever I watched the Rugrats movie.
    Trueblue94 Posted 8 years 11 months ago
Aw man I loved this one! I remember them shortening it to just the guys saying "Ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-nickelodeon!" I HATED when they did that!
    Jt62786 Posted 8 years 11 months ago

    rainbowbrite79 Posted 9 years 9 months ago
I sooo remember this----I love being "nostalgic"
DM Retro DOKURO Posted 9 years 9 months ago
I was so freakin' scared of this at my early age. I still think it's creepy now.
    This_guy Posted 9 years 9 months ago
Yeah, a montage of all the bumpers from the 80's. 90's Nick paid respect to the decade before it (or was just being lazy). Not anymore.
blueluigi Posted 10 years 5 months ago
I have this bumper on an old Rugrats VHS release. This is probably one of the earliest bumpers I could remember. Well Nickelodeon bumpers that is.
Furienna Posted 10 years 10 months ago
I remember this too, of course. What a good thing to do a montage of all those bumpers.
    cman521 Posted 10 years 11 months ago

    99Centsplease Posted 11 years 2 months ago
I remember this was on my old Paramount Rugrats videos! They have everything here from "ARF! Nickelodeon!" to the Nicktoons "Guh" man!
    rnorred06 Posted 11 years 2 months ago
Coolest bumper ever! They use to play this right before a nicktoons music video. Our generation of nick ruled in the 90's.
KRW Posted 11 years 6 months ago
I am vaguely familiar with this bumper, since I was 6 or 7 when I last saw it.

No, but my cousin had one. It was pretty cool, The alarm would make all these cartoony sound effects and play the Nick theme and stuff. It also had an AM/FM radio.
YuYuYuuki Posted 8 months 23 days ago
I remember that clock. I had it because my mom was an avid eBay shopper and stumbled upon it, and showed it to me, thinking I'd like it. I did. She also bought me Gak.
ChowTimer Posted 11 years 7 months ago
this played on the ren and stimpy vhs tapes I had ( now I have it on dvd)
KRW Posted 11 years 7 months ago
Dont worry xo_laiNybaBi_ox, you have nothing to feel old about. I saw this bumper when I was in 1st or 2nd grade.
    xo_laiNybaBi_ox Posted 11 years 8 months ago
ahhh the good ol' days. its kinda sad, im only 18 and i feel so old watching all this retro junk. but this was my favorite bumper.
TherealRNO Posted 11 years 9 months ago
*sings along* Nick Nick Nick Nickelodeon...

Before the stupid Nicktoons (i.e Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Nuetron, etc.) took over. I miss the classic Nick with SNICK (Saturday Night Nick), prime-time shows (Legends of the Hidden Temple, GUTS, Are You Afraid of the Dark?!, etc.), and the original Nicktoons (Rugrats, the original Doug, and Ren & Stimpy).

Vibegirl...Because the WB! sold "Looney Tunes" to Nickelodeon at this point, M. J. Frog--like all "Tunes" characters--was licenesed to Nickelodeon.
Shot King Posted 11 years 11 months ago
They would play this everytime a nick music video came on, as someone already said. Those guys in the yellow suits were annyoing.... but I liked the homage a lot!
    SquidMan93 Posted 11 years 11 months ago
I have this on an old Ren & Stimpy Show tape.

NickMania Posted 12 years 7 months ago
I loved this one they sure don't Nickelodeon the way that they used too.
Derrick Posted 12 years 7 months ago
Can anyone imagine these bumpers playing today? I just cant visualize it happening. Its like it would only work with certain cartoons from the past. I dunno, just a thought.
Hailey Posted 12 years 7 months ago
They would also play it before music videos on the channel!
TheNewMinistry Posted 12 years 7 months ago
This was shown at the beginning and end of all Nickelodeon VHS releases produced from 1993-1994.
