I have to add that I'm talking about the latest GTO not the 60's and 70's

Alot of people probably don't know that the Pontiac GTO is actually a Holden (I think HSV) with a Pontiac Badge on it.

I think it's kind of sad that so many Americans don't realize that there are other nations/cultures out there.... To assume that Holden "ripped off" Chevrolet without understanding the connection. Rather egocentric of Americans (and I am one!).

The design is typical Chevrolet, redone for Holden in Australia...

They look too much like mid and full size Chevrolets...

No friggin' way! As if that song is a rip-off! I feel so cheated...

    -pp (Australian... *sigh*)

That's because Holden cars are owned by General Motors, and they're made and available only in Australia

This is a RIP-OFF of the famous Baseball Hot Dogs Apple Pie and Chevrolet ads of the '70s.
    Quote O' Matic
    • Archie and Swinger: Archie: Ohhh, swinging, is that what you's calls it?"
Swinger Man: "Yeah, what do you call it?"
      Archie: "Communism!"
