Bonkers candy (1980)

I'm not too sure but I think it may be Lily Tomlin but I'm not sure. She's known for performing those way out there characters like Edith Anne and that's the truth.

this was by far my favorite candy when i was a kid....the strawberry or the grape were the best...how can we get people to bring them back?

The creepy lady who looks like she was pulled off of "Mama's Family" and the fruit falling on anyone who dared eat a Bonkers.... I was hoping this ad was on here. I loved it back in the day...

This was the Best Candy ever, here in Japan they still have a candy just like it too, named, "HI-Chew". Everytime I have a hi-chew I think of this past time candy back home.

Trust me Fisher-Price. It was mostly xanthan gum and other chemicals, sugar and food dye so you're not missing very much.
It's no worse than what's out there now but to tell you the truth I miss Bonkers candy very much and I wish they would consider making it again. They came in grape, strawberry, watermelon.
