Hooray For Reading - The Accident (1970)

Of all these reading commericals this one is my favorite for so many reasons.

First off, why would you name a dog badger? A badger is a completely different animal kid, think of something else! How about Schlmo or some other strange name!?

Second, the kid doesn't really seem to mind that his dog runs into the middle of the street with cars wizzing by and it will probably get hit by the van.

And lastly, the kid who is describing the story sounds so unenthusiastic. Just as the dog is about to get hit you see this apathetic kid talking in a deadpan voice saying that you should read that book and stuff so it just made the whole thing perfect. Long explanation but this was necessary.
