Sunny D consists of 5% fruit juice and 95% sugar water. LOL

i really loved this stuff! especially back in those days! it's too bad the ads and packaging suck now, no matter what they call it these days it's still sunny delight to me!

These Sunny D commercials were all the same. "We got soda, OJ, purple stuff...Sunny D! Alright!"

I miss the old Sunny Delight packaging. Now people wanna be lazy and call it Sunny D. I couldn't tell the difference.

i never knew why it was california style either. the parts in the commercial where it explained the difference i must have totally ignored when i was little. and now i cant stand sunny d. i used to live off it though

"What the hell was the difference?"

California Style had a slightly sweeter taste (I believe it had a bit more sugar). That's pretty much it, though.

Anyway, Sunny D was what got me into liking orange juice (I originally hated OJ before trying this).

...And then I matured over the years and tried REAL orange juice, and realized that Sunny D was mostly sugar and chemicals and crap. (5% juice? What's the rest of the stuff?) I never turned back.
