    Things could be this cheap back then because cost of living was cheap....minimum wage was what $3-$3.25 an hour...Im sure if minimum wage could still be that cheap so would the food

    i order two kids meals @ mcd's for my kids, and it almost comes out to $10. life sucks nowadays.

    In the 80's you can get an entire kid's meal for 99 cents and in 2008 at McDonalds you can get a small cheeseburger for $1. My the times have changed.

    I remember the Gummy Bears meal! 99 cents...wow, almost the same price as a gallon of gasoline back then too.

    Gotta love retro! I miss the way things were in the early 90s! Only 99 cents for a[n] entire meal, for kids or adults at the time! Everything was almost PERFECT back then! :(
