I'm still trying to get used to people telling me they were born in the '90s. It blows my mind! I'm gettin' old.

I missed that logo because I wasn't born yet. I saw the PBS Kids "P-pals" logo after "Sesame Street" when I was born in 1995

I think someone mentioned in another website it stood for "Dancer Fitzgerals Sample" before Saatchi & Saatchi took over "The Program Exchange" in '87.

Has anybody actually figured out what exactly DFS stands for? I remember seeing this after Dennis The Menace.

George Lucas should've used a slowed down version of the synth line from this for his THX "bug", as they call it in the production biz. (Hmmm, come to think of it, I was wondering why it reminded me of something else...)

The music from this logo used to make me feel like the world was ending.

I used to see this logo at the end of such programs as "Bewitched," "I Dream of Jeannie" and "Dennis the Menace (the 1985-87 animated cartoon)."

    • Art: I think the message to, uh, psychos, fanatics, murderers, nutcases all over the world is, uh, "do not mess with suburbanites". Because, uh, frankly we're just not gonna take it any more. Ya know, we're not gonna be content to look after our lawns and wax our cars, paint out houses. We're out to...
