I've noticed that the Krazy Glue that's sold today doesn't seem to work as well as the original Krazy Glue that was sold way back then (seriously!). Try gluing two pieces of broken ceramic with the new stuff. I guarantee you: THEY WILL NOT STICK TOGETHER. I'm almost convinced the formula was somehow changed when nobody was looking. I say it probably happened when they started coming out with these other kinds of Krazy Glue that were made for specific purposes.

I used to glue my index finger and thumb together on purpose with Super Glue as a kid. They were a pain in the ass to get apart though. I should have learned my lesson, but never did.

I didn't know they advertised Krazy Glue in that manner (the same as Chia Pets and Clapper). Interesting.

That stuff is HELL if it gets on your skin! I learned my lesson the hard way!

Actually, it wasn't 70s. I found this on a tape from June, 1981, and it probably hit the air the previous year. I wish the quality were better, but I knew I had to add it RetroJunk -- the image of the construction worker gluing his hardhat to the beam was iconic back then.

Wow! That IS krazy glue! I wonder how long JCPenney was called Penney's before it changed its name.
