I always wanted these and the regular ones but my parents never had the money and didn't trust ordering stuff from the tv so I missed out on them.

I wanna get the better blocks.
    kbkokkifan85 Posted 8 years 5 months ago
I remember the Glow in the Dark Better Blocks commercial and I also remember getting 2 sets of these for Christmas in 1994. My sets were purchased at Wal-Mart. I still have all my Better Blocks sets and they bring back so many memories.

Do they still sell better blocks?
    PaLaDiN91 Posted 8 years 10 months ago
No mom would buy that much.
Sota Posted 9 years 1 month ago

This commercial probably marks the start of my love for junk sold on TV.

I must have seen this commercial and drooled over it a million times as a youth, but somehow I never knew they connected with Legos. NOW ya tell me!
Hanochan Posted 9 years 4 months ago
Better Blocks are good, but Legos are RAD.
    80sTMNTrulez Posted 9 years 7 months ago
I had millions of these XD

I remember making the treasure chest once.

Man the book that came with them had impossible designs XD
    Phillbo817 Posted 9 years 10 months ago
They make your ordinary block extraordinary!

Hey, I'm the biggest Lego fan in the world and even I had a blast with these.

Damn, do I remember this commercial...sitting in the living room, watching Nick, eating french fries, drinking Juicy Juice...oh man, the MEMORIES!
marcometer Posted 10 years 2 months ago
yeah my grandma got me these too...... played with them for about 4 hours and never touched them again. Basically handed them down to my little brother afterwards.
ILIKECOOKIES Posted 10 years 2 months ago
Lame, thats a crappy grandma gift. Grandma didn't understand the coolness of Legos.
NickRules Posted 10 years 2 months ago
Who could actually make all that cool shit? lol

I remember they smelled good, and I liked to chew on them.
nicolexann Posted 10 years 2 months ago
OMG I WANTED THESE SO BAD; but yeah, as soon as it started.. i seemed like I had just seen this commercial like a few years ago.. tops. Not 1993. weird.
    stormdragon27 Posted 10 years 3 months ago
The funny thing is... it doesn't seem that long ago to me that this commercial ran.
    Pheonix16 Posted 10 years 6 months ago
every time this commercial came on my mom would change the channel because i would bug the crap out of her to buy them for me. I thought they were so cool cuz they glowed in the dark.
    Crazy4Nostalgia Posted 10 years 7 months ago

    lologrl86 Posted 10 years 9 months ago
Mandy003 is right.......i saw this commercial like 500 times was always on, you couldn't get away from it. My mom wouldn't let us get them, she said we had more then enough regular legos. lol
    mandy003 Posted 10 years 10 months ago
I think I must have seen this comercial 500 times! Cool looking toy, but I never got them. The girl in the pink does kinda look like Lacy Chabert but I'm not sure if that's her.
    soundwave47 Posted 10 years 11 months ago
gah why didn't i get these when i had the chance
afternoon Posted 10 years 11 months ago
Is it just me or did the little girl in pink in the end look like Lacey Chabert?
    hardrockfan12 Posted 11 years 19 days ago
WOW! I haven't seen these in years. Never had them but I remember them.
PeeweesPrincess Posted 11 years 1 month ago
I still have mine. I built a cobra (the snake, not the car) out of them when I was 7.. I've never took it apart since, and now I'm 17.
    Phantasmagoria_3D Posted 11 years 3 months ago
As a kid, I thought these were neat. Never got 'em though. Still, a decent toy for kids.
    jgarner4 Posted 11 years 7 months ago
really did anyone ever build the things they had on that commercial irl?
whizkidforte Posted 11 years 8 months ago
My cousins and I have these as kids! Maybe that was the effect of this commercial - well remembered!
Brick Wall Posted 11 years 9 months ago
this is my favorite commercial ever. probably because i never had it. and i always wanted it. i appreciate it more now that i dont have it. but they played it all the time. and since i liked things to be repeated i watch and enjoyed it everytime. man thank you soo much for the memorys. i wonder if i called that number?
SummertmeBrews Posted 11 years 9 months ago
haha yea how long was this commercial, probably aired noon on a tuesday/ or late at night rather. Damn, i never had better blocks.... LEGOS were my thing
KFCLOVER Posted 11 years 9 months ago
I wanted those when I was 6. I am now 15 years old. But I can handle without them.
dalmatianlover Posted 11 years 9 months ago
Commercials are supposed to be 30 or 60 seconds long, but these commercials that advertise things like this are like 5 minutes long!
    Quote O' Matic

      Jo: Oh. Yours?
Bill: Christ, you couldn't resist, could you?
