    Yeah but Sega was actually beating Nintendo for a few years so what looks like crap today apparently worked back then. By the time DKC came out the Genesis was about to pull out of the market and that's when SNES took over.

        Yes, but they sure loved planetary shots. Their ads always had the message that everyone in the world is playing or otherwise affected by their games.

          Yeah, watching Sega ads and Nintendo ads the reason Nintendo did so well is obvious, they actually had a marketing department. The ads for Nintendo games are just so so much better than Sega ads.

            I now have 2 copies of this game :)
            1 is a US import I bought 7 years ago, the other is the PAL version, which includes the "Go Ape" CD the initial batch of PAL copies included!
