I remember a longer version of this song saying "This is serious...serious...We could make you delirious..." yet when I was young I did not understand that they were pills. They did not look like pills, nor did the bottle have the prescription sign. I probably would have guessed better if symbols were used.

What's that? It's not 1970s but it's 1983 to be aired this PSA. It was featured on "vhone83" or I think it's "Best Week Ever".

.....Harmonizing? Singing drugs? I actually saw this PSA on the replay by VH1, and I thought it was..... strange.

Wow... Harmonising medicine. If I ever needed a perscription, it'd be these guys all the way. Then again, would I feel guilty about eating them>

    Yes, agbrown83 has right !
    agbrown83 Posted 12 years 1 month ago
It clearly says on the commercial that it came out back in 1983. So why the heck is this commercial in the 1970s page? Can someone put it in the right category which is the 1980s?

    Funny yet very good info
pandacookie Posted 12 years 10 months ago
Mr3urious (and everyone else that said they saw this clip in the 80s), it certainly was shown in the early 80's, and quite a lot, too! I was going by a small article I once read about this commercial. The article said it was made in the 70's. There were a lot of commercials made in the 70's that were shown frequently in the 80's, like some of the the "Time For Timer" shorts, or the Tootsie Roll and Tootsie Pop commercials, or even the Life cereal commercial with Mikey.
dalmatianlover Posted 12 years 10 months ago
^Speaking of which, FYI, those ARE candy!
dalmatianlover Posted 12 years 10 months ago
True, there is the possibility that the commercial had a long run. Take the Tootsie Roll and Tootsie Pop commercials for instance.
ChowTimer Posted 12 years 10 months ago
Someone had to be taking a lot of pills in order to see them singing.
    mr3urious Posted 12 years 10 months ago
Perhaps it was used in 1983 as well!
pandacookie Posted 12 years 10 months ago
VH1 is wrong. That commercial was made in the late 70's.
