Calm down there Mikeroach lol Mega Man was an awsome game and franchise but best ever probably not....Mario, Zelda and others like Castlevania and Metroid would probably have been better

Mega Man 2 was much better.
But 1 was ahead of it's time and it didn't sell enough to warrant a sequel.
To even get Mega Man 2 made Keiji Inafune had to work on both Mega Man 2 and other projects.

It was Mega Man 2 that made Mega Man a success.

YEAH! Old school Megaman! I can't wait for 9 on the Wiiware, it's like we are living the 80's again!

To the person who said Mega Man is overrated:MEGA MAN IS THE GREATEST VIDEO GAME CHARACTER AND FRANCHISE OF ALL TIME! He's untouchable. Nobody can compete with him. He kicks ass in every area!!!!

You shoulda move this to the 80's section. Megaman released in 12/17/1987.

Mega Man is one of the best nintendo series of all time. This commercial is pretty cool, because of the anime Mega Man characters. It's way better than what Capcom USA gave us. (Remember that ugly american box art? it gives me the jibblies..)

This is the way they should've done the Mega Man cartoon show, which was aired on network television here in the U.S. This commercial is pretty cool for an ad based on the original NES Mega Man! I'm so glad I bought the "Mega Man: Anniversary Collection" for my PS2 so that I can relive the golden years of retro gaming anytime!

VERY intresting find here, if only they did that for the US release here.
