this show (or some version of it translated into English) was on TV I believe EXACTLY 2 times...
I have been looking for it forever, but have been unable to find the actual US version.

seeing as it was the 1st thing i seen like this at the time, it really stood out.
but for some reason, even though it promised the next episode (where the crab comes back and attacks an amusement park) NEVER came out... it just... vanished, and was never talked about again.

The most memorable things on there was that trapezoid shaped (sorta, very angular anyways) car.
the enemies, a giant crab, and some drag queen called \"Nigel Conquren\" who had a crowd of putties (they were actually called that, and are the same exact ones in power rangers)
and they each had special abilities, most memorable being the black one could jump really high (and uses a tall tree to escape)
does ANYONE know the us versions name, or have footage of it?!
Oh, and when they shoot their little lasers at the putties, balloons inflated from their ears, and exploded...killing all of them...

a lot of the power rangers seems to be DIRECTLY taken from this show...not inspired, copied, but actually TAKEN from this one...!

This version was actually the opening to the Goggle V movie, which was released to Japanese cinemas in 1982.

So that was Japan\'s own Power Rangers, and it was back in the 1980\'s.
