This was the "Family Guy" of the 70's, modeled straight from a popular show of the time you may have heard of called "All In The Family" (coincidentally, "Family Guy"'s opening theme is a take on AITF's own). One other interesting note: Tom Bosley played the head of the household on this show, and, as you may know, he would go on to play the head of yet another household in a live action sitcom, as Howard Cunningham on "Happy Days", which eventually would get the pop-culture hazing treatment on FG. (How's that for a little "6 Degrees of Seperation"?)

This show is well before my time being that I was born in 1978 but I did watch it on some network in the early to mid 90's at night time. It was funny and somewhat innapropriate.
