Assemble Insert (アッセンブル・インサート) is an action-comedy manga serialized and published in Aniparo Comics in 1985 by Masami Yuuki. It received a 2-episode OVA released from December 1989 to February 1990 with animation by Studio Core and distributed by Tohokushinsha Film Corporation and Warner-Pioneer (Warner Bros. Japan). It was also distributed in North America by The Right Stuf, with English subtitles and dubs. A criminal group known as Demon Seed terrorizes Tokyo with its vast armies of mecha. The local police is afraid to confront them, but one person stands in their way: Maron Namikaze, a 13-year-old idol singer with a catchy voice and unbelievable superhuman strength.
