WTVT presently broadcasts 72½ hours of locally produced newscasts each week (with 12 hour each weekday, 6½ hours on Saturdays and 6 hours on Sundays). On June 30, 2009, WTVT became the 4th and final television in the Tampa Bay market to begin broadcasting its local newscasts in high definition.
