Minions: The Rise of Gru

In the heart of 1976, 12-year-old Gru (Steve Carell) is growing up in the suburbs with his Minions, including Kevin, Stuart & Bob, and introducing Otto. Gru was a fanboy of the Vicious 6, a supervillain group. He hatches a plan to become evil enough to join. Together, Gru and the Minions deploy their skills as they build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons, and pull off their first missions. As Gru interviews to become the new member of the Vicious 6, after they oust their leader - legendary fighter Wild Knuckles -, it (at least) doesn't go well, and only gets worse after Gru outsmarts them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.
