Edward Snowden's long-time dream of joining the U.S. Army is sidelined by injury during his Basic Training. Afterwards he lands at his second dream job of joining the CIA but later resigns and joins the American NSA instead. He later finds a frightening reality--the NSA is conducting illegal and warrantless surveillance activity on American citizens. His attempts to leak the information out to the American public begin a new era of public activism against overreaching government surveillance worldwide but also make him the US Government's number one most wanted man. Based on the 2013 book "The Snowden Files".
