When I went to Disney World, I noticed they have a line of action figures featuring Mickey and Friends as Star Wars characters. Theirs features Mickey as Luke Skywalker. But since Donald is my favorite, I thought it'd be fun to cast him as the Jedi-in-training.

Let me know what you think.

I think that those designs could work well as the model for action figures in the mold (forgive the pun) of the line you mentioned. You're really good at drawing...I have to say that your Disney sketches are just as good as the official ones.

Dang, if you continue to get that good at drawing, then maybe someday you might be able to work for Disney yourself.

Can you draw Minnie in Leia's metal bikini? A friend told me to ask. :)

            Wow! Thanks! That's the dream.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I'm working on more. So far, I have a "New Hope" version of Leia Minnie. Hopefully, I'll get around to some other versions as well.

I don't see any significant difference from a professional one. I guess you could apply right now for them.

Yeah really. You have serious talent. This site has a lot of second ( Make that eighth) rate artists who want to have careers as illustrators, although I seriously doubt they have half your passion. Good work, keep it up. Maybe someday you can draw a phallus on the next Disney castle.

Thanks for all the compliments folks. Here's some more. The Goofy and Minnie are just as Disney officially imagined them, but the others are products of my own fanboy design.

I know Mickey doesn't really have the "scruffiness" of Han Solo... but, oh well... it was fun to draw :)

Speaking of which, it'd be interesting to see Disney characters like Mickey and his friends do their own take on Star Wars. From what I've seen in the designs that you've drawn, that would be a great way to see a Star Wars parody with Mickey and his friends.

Here's Pete as Darth Vader who, granted, is in no way Donald's father. But this is all just a surface-value kind of fun anyways. :)

As the Emperor, I went a little obscure and cast the Mad Doctor. I've been playing a lot of Epic Mickey and thought he would be perfect for the part.

Thanks again for all the kind comments.

I love these drawings. Great Job.

While in Disneyland in 2007, I bought some Pin Trading Pins, and one of them was Goofy as Darth Vader.

Yeah. They've also done Goofy as C-3P0, Jar-Jar, and Chewie. I like the Chewie version best.

                                    Silly Nate...

Those are great depictions of "Disney/Star Wars". I was wondering if you can do something like that with "The Wizard of OZ". (I can see Minnie as Dorthy, Mickey as Scarecrow, Donald as The Tin Man, and Goofy as The Lion...or Goofy as The Tin Man and Donald as The Lion...a webbed-footed Lion? Daisy as The Wicked Witch, Ludwig von Drake as The Wizard, Pluto as Toto of course, Claribelle (or The Blue Fairy) as Glinda, Grandma Duck (Or Claribelle) as Aunt Em, and Scrooge (Or Horace) as Uncle Henry).

This was a suggestion, but keep it up! :D
