Not too long ago I sold all my old video games to Gamestop so I could buy my PS3. Recently I was thinking about some of the games, and I started thinking about a problem I was having with "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life" on gamecube.

I always wanted to reach the end of the game. Since I got the game for my birthday in 2005 I would have periods where I would play it nonstop then not play it at all.

In March of 2010, I stopped playing it on the gamecube and then started to play it on the Wii. When I went to play it one day, I got message on it when I was trying to open up my saved game. The message was something like "this file has gone corrupt."

I searched online for answers but never got them. Even though I have already sold the game and don't play it anymore, I still want to know why it said that and what was wrong. If anyone knows why this happened or any form of information regarding it, post in this thread.

My guess is that your memory card went bad (sadly it happened to my GC memory card as well on my Wii). It happens with things like that and all you can do is just restart over with a new memory card. And dont worry i actually played and beat that game... and was disappointed by it :( and im a HUGE harvest moon fan.

Yeah it must have just messed up the last time you saved it or maybe the card dropped and something happened inside. you never can tell exactly.
