I liked it, then I had a horrible crack addiction.
Genesis had the best version of Mortal Kombat in my opinion. The blood code is forever embedded in my memory.

The SNES version was better in my opinion.
The lack of blood makes it inferior to genesis version in my opinion but still just as great otherwise. Not totally sure (its been a long ass time) but didnt mk1 on snes have like some sort of green slime for the blood?

You know what crow174, I figured it out. It was the japanese version of MK2 that had the green blood. See, I knew I had seen something about green blood in MK somewhere.

^^ Hell yeah they totally bled oil. sektor is one dirty ass character, with his cheap rockets. Cyrax was always the man though.
They both frustrate me, as a comp Sektor is worse but my friend's really good with Cyrax. I'm a Kano kinda guy.

I think Smoke from MK3 had something similar to that.
It was in my opinion the best port of the original game at the time. But then again I had a Genesis as a kid. BTW, I was playing all the MK games on my Genesis yesterday!! GET OVER HEREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
