My youngest son is really into Pokemon....and he liked the post on the "worst" of em to catch...so he asked me to start a topic on people's FAVORITE ones to catch....btw he wants it to be known that Mew, Pikachu, Giratina, Dialga, Palkia, Mewtwo.....
On any game that has him, I always get a nidoking. He's tough, powerful, has several different elemental attacks available, and is immune to poison.
My favorite Pokemon to raise would probably have to be a Charmander.
As for what favorite Pokemon I like to catch, I guess it would have to be Mewtwo.

My favorites are grass, and bug types. I guess I really like to capture Weedle, because it's my favorite bug type pokemon because he evolves into Beedrill when it's all grown up. When I was younger, I had an awsome Beedrill! As far as I can remember, I never lost a fight whenever I would lose it! I don't know if I have a favorite grass type, because it's an even toss-up between Bulbasaur, and Oddish.
Besides I want to catch um all, my favorite pokemon to catch must be a Cubone.

I like to raise Nidoran Male into Nidoking; Nidoking is essential for my party everytime [despite his numerous weaknesses]. Other than raising, I like to catch Heracross and Mareep. Mareep is very dependable.

thanks all you junkers for answering my little boy's question....except for you, "Heisenberg"....o.k.....you are just kinda icky....I mean this was a question posed by a child...so...your answer to it was crap...everyone else....once again thanks for taking the time...my son got a real kick outta the fact that actual real people are on this site and cared enough to answer him!

Ah there's no feeling like catching a legendary is there?
There's a few I like to catch, just can't call them to mind right now. But more recently having re-played Sapphire, I found Torkoal to be a good catch.
