I've heard that Japanese releases of certain video games for the original Playstation and PS2 won't work on American systems for some reason. Does that also hold true for games released in European countries? There is this one PS2 game that was released only in Europe that I'm thinking about buying on ebay, but I won't buy it until I know for sure that it will work on my PS2. Thanks for any help with this.

Euro games won't work as our TVs run on NTSC and theirs work on PAL. I'm sure theres a way to mod the system but I don't know anything about that.
