Do you think that Super Mario Bros. 2 lived up to the standard of all other Mario titles???

    Which SMB 2? You must be specific here. Do you mean the US version, or its original version that the US didn't get until years later?

        Super Mario Bros 2 was an ok game. At least you could choose other characters besides the Mario Brothers. It may of lacked Bowser in the game, but it had Wart.

          i think it lived up to it simply due to the fact that it had multiple playable characters in the game. that is one dimension that has not been added to a mario gsme in a long time

            i think it lived up to it simply due to the fact that it had multiple playable characters in the game. that is one dimension that has not been added to a mario gsme in a long time

            I've played both; our SMB2 as well as the original Super Mario Bros 2 when it was brought over finally. I don't know anyone who hasn't played both, to be honest, unless the person is just too young to have played it. Anyone who owned Super Mario All-Stars for the SNES, had to have played both.

                    Super mario 2 (the american version) was a good game. I mean it really wasn't a mario game to begin with it was just edited from Doki Doki Panic.
                    The japanese one (the lost levels) was good but not as good as the original.
