My doctor was such a snob about it saying how NES rots your mind and that Socrates was the wave of the future. lol

Somebody really needs to build a better edutainment system without the patronizing attitude of the 80's.

I'm not really a fan of educational Video game systems. Especially that Leapster crap, I never had games to teach me to do maths or read.

The ads for those new "educational videogame systems". They're are SO ANNOYING AND STUPID! (You can't have dessert if you don't play your video games) Depicting kids playing an extremely weird and boring-looking game.

OH! And if THAT's not terrible enough for you, stuff your face with this bite:

Educational Video Games for BABIES. WHAT? Why do babies need their own video games? With the bizzarre games, why should they even play them? When I was TWO I remember playing [trying at least] Donkey Country, TMNT 2 (Arcade Version), and Star Wars: Rebel Assault; and I turned just fine! Gosh... Ugh... those commercials... :x

Yeah, games like Mario teach kids strategy and how to escape difficult situations. Leapster teaches kids to read and do math, but isn't that what schools for?

Nope today's parents prefer video games and television to raise their kids as they've got better things to do in their lives.

Some people only have kids for money. Now in Melbourne, if a kid is born, the mother gets $6000.

I can see why the goverment would give a mother money to raise her baby, especially in a low income family, but it is more likely to be abused than used properly.

Yeah, I know this lady who has about 8 or 10 kids, she has recieved $6000 for about the last 4 or 5 kids she's had. Believe me, she hasnt used the money to fund the kid, her partner does that.

Again, it is being abused. I'm just saying why they would do something like that (The government usually roots for the underdogs in society)
