What games for retro consoles do you think were the system's "last hurrah (s) " before getting discontinued?

I think the Xbox's last hurrah was "Family Guy" :) :

Outrageous humor, challenging gameplay and more make the Family Guy videogame the Xbox's last hurrah ;) .

What do you guys think were what console's last hurrahs?

I think the Sega Saturns was Panzer Dragoon Saga, an underated gem and big sendoff.

I think the last hurrah for Xbox was Splinter Cell: Double Agent, the last hurrah for PS2 was Guitar Hero 2, but it will soon be God of War 2, & the last Game Cube hurrah was The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.

kirby for the NES came out very late in the system's lifetime, possibly a last hurrah. and the gamecube release of twilight princess is definitely one of the last things we'll hear from that system.

Mega drive, maybe the early polygon based games like virtua fighter and virtua racer. A new era was beginning

The last hurrah on the Dreamcast was probably Sonic Adventure 2, and for the PS1, I think it would have to be Final Fatnasy Origins which is actually the last game to come out for the PSX

I think the Sega Genesis' last hurrah was Sonic 3D. Its nice that video game companies release pretty good titles even though the system is plunging.

The last hurrah on the Super Nintendo was either Super Mario RPG, or Donkey Kong Country 3.

Mega Man 6 came out for the NES in late 1993; not many "good" games for the NES came out after that one.

Mega Man & Bass came out for the SNES in 1998, which is the latest a "commonly-known" Super NES game has been released!

I'd say the N64's last hurrah was Paper Mario.

It only came out in Japan and never made it to North America, so I don't really count it...the SNES lasted over there for a couple more years. It was also known as Rockman & Forte (I imported it quite awhile ago).

It's a shame Sonic Xtreme and Shenmue never made it to the Saturn. They would have been awesome last hurrahs.

SNES: Donkey Kong Country 3, Chrono Trigger, EarthBound, Final Fantasy VI (known as III back then), Mega Man X3.

PS1: Final Fantasy IX, Gran Turismo 2 (can someone help me out as to what great PS1 stuff came out in 2000/2001?).

                                  SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive: Sonic & Knuckles + Sonic 3, Vectorman (1 & 2), Shining Force II, Phantasy Star 4.

Dreamcast: Shenmue II (Japan & Europe; released only on Xbox in the US).

It made it to America (in 2003), but by the time it came out (5 Years??) the game's quality was only suitible for GBA, so you could consider it a portable game when speaking of the North American release. I remember hoping it would be released on GameCube or something when it still hadn't been released here yet.

For SNES it would have to be Super Mario RPG. It came out in 1996( When the N64 came out)

For N64 It was definentally Conqers Bad Fur Day. There were other games that came out but they were only mediocre sports titles and a Power Puff game.

For gamecube it was definentally Twilight Princess.

The last hurrah for the original Gameboy was Pokemon, simple as that. love it or hate it (I love it), but it revitalised the handheld scene, which kinda was lacking around the late 90's.
