I remember when I was a kid playing Mortal Kombat 1 in the arcades the character seemed really tall same goes for street fighter. Mortal Kombat 1 to 3 were great the 1st ones a classic though.
I remember watching the 2nd Mortal Kombat movie, and wondering how anyone could be retarded enough to make a movie that awful.
These games wer classics but the movie was pretty bad. I used to watch that movie all the time at my grams house. Now i think the movie is cheezy but the second movie was probally the worst!!!!!!!! ther costumes sucked! Mortal kombat 2 is probally one of the most popular classic MK game ever made i think. I have a couple of mortal kombat comic books from when they first came out! Scorpion was one of my favorite ninjas cause he said "Get over here"! Thank u for replying to my thread by the way.

I think the first movie is the best game to movie ever. Its just a shame everything else Anderson touched since has sucked mainly after Solider with Kurt Russel.
Yes the movie was good for its time and is still a classic but now compared to these movies its like trash but i guess thats y this site is called retro junk.
They're making a third Mortal Kombat movie, but they're giving it the Batman Begins treatment. It's like a prequel but moves into where the 1st movie was. Some of the original cast is back. Such as Christopher Lambert as Raiden and rumors of Robin Shoe as Lui Kang. It's going to be a much higher budget than the other two put together.

Well..... I guess, to me, I think it's hard to decide which Mortal Kombat game is the best. For classic gaming, I like all 1-3, but I also like playing Deception a lot, even if it is a bit.. err.... not classic-ish o.o;

I think MK2 was the best compare the graphics for that time. MK2 had it goin on! But MK1 arcade game was the best!!!!! Mk3 was alright there characters looked kinda gay, and plus raieden wasnt in that game so...... thats wat i think. and i also want to thank u guys 4 replying to my thread.
Hmm yea I didn't like how Sub-Zero looked in MK3. You're right about MK1 and had too few characters but I'm fine with any MK that has at least Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Kano, Raidenm Jax or Smoke (most of the girl fighters are awesome so I don't care who's in it and who isn't). MK4 gave me a headache too quick. I remember being utterly upset when I rented it. MK2 was definitely off the hizzy :) I'm dying to play the one where you play as Jax because a lot of people are so disgusted by it lol. I want to see what was so wrong with it.
