The NES introduced me to gaming and still has plenty of games I like, but I'd have to go with Sega Genesis. This was the console that really hooked me on gaming. It moved things forward, the graphics were much better than what NES displayed and the games were a blast. Many classic games I still enjoy today (the 2-D Sonics still stand as some of my favorite platformers). I think a better comparison is Genesis and SNES, and in that one, I'd give a slight edge to the SNES.
