NES for me. The graphics might've been lesser in quality as far as games on the Sega went, but they were a lot of fun. Games like Contra, Final Fantasy, Bubble Bobble and Paperboy rule. For a kid it was very exciting. Honestly I haven't played many Sega games to compare very well but I know I have more with NES.

I understand that quite well. NES was a classic and still is. Sega had classic games but the older they are the more class they got i always say.

Nes i played those games much more but the main reason is b/c my brother lent all but 1 of them to his firend who had his sega and every game he had stolen the only game he didnt have over there was sonic 2 so everything shifted to the Nes and snes after that

The NES was 8-bit and the Genesis was 16-bit so comparing the systems in terms of graphics would be unfair, but I loved my NES more than I did my Genesis.

NES for pure nostalgia, although I had more fun with Genesis games like sonic, streets of rage, and other fine sega games.

I personally feel that NES is way better despite the graphics. The reason why is because of the many great games. Also Double Dragon is the best game ever made. Anybody agree?

NES, because of the games, Zelda, Mario, Castlevania and other games it had.

                    I concur!

But between Sega and NES - NES!!!

I don't feel the need to explain this.

The NES introduced me to gaming and still has plenty of games I like, but I'd have to go with Sega Genesis. This was the console that really hooked me on gaming. It moved things forward, the graphics were much better than what NES displayed and the games were a blast. Many classic games I still enjoy today (the 2-D Sonics still stand as some of my favorite platformers). I think a better comparison is Genesis and SNES, and in that one, I'd give a slight edge to the SNES.

Have to go with the genesis. Nes is great, but it had a lot of crappy games with some horrible game play elements.

Sega because it had lots of great games. Nes has good games too, but they seemed to have more crappy ones then good
