With all of the different Star Wars video games that have been branched off from the expanded universe to the Lego Star Wars series, what is your favorite Star Wars VG?
For me, I'd have to go with Star Wars: KOTOR, then Shadows of the Empire on the Nintendo 64, next would be the Star Wars for the NES, Star Wars: Battlefields 1 & 2 for the xbox are great games also.. Then the Lego Star Wars series.. Although Episode 3 did actually produce a decent game as well.. And then Star Wars: Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2 for the PC..

I was a fan of just the side scollers for the SNES. Return of the Jedi was better than Empire Strikes back, but they were both pretty good.
KOTOR for me. The characters and stories are just great. I can't get enough of that game.
I also like Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. It's not very often you get to play as a Fett. Also, it plays out the time before Episode II pretty well, in my opinion.
The others I haven't played enough yet, so I can't give my opinion on them.

My favorites are the Rogue Squadron games and Dark Forces games.

I too Like the Rogue Squadron games ( I have yet to play X-wing vs. Tie fighter)
But I'll go with the Many Arcade adaptions of the Game!!

I love the three Super Star Wars games on the SNES. I also love the Rouge Squadron games, Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, and Shadows of the Empire.
kotor series - I Loved The Whole Build A Jedi Option i think the first one was better then the second but i loved the story line in both
dark forces/jedi knights series - i love head shots
Battlefront Series - Star Wars And Halo Combined into one = The King Of Head Shots and plus shooting ewoks and jawas in the face is so fun
Galactic battlegrounds - I loved how i could build a massive army of stormtrooper and rush a wookie base
Force Commander - this game was hard to control but it was pretty much the same concept as Galactic Battlegrounds
The Force Unleashed - i cant wait for this game the trailer looks amazing

I'm going to go against the tread and say Star Wars Episode 1: Racer.
I thought it was the coolest because it felt so much like the movie, and the sound FX were pretty damn close to what was used in the movies, that I really got a kick out of it.
Eventually, I beat it (the PC version)... and lost interest in it... but I wish they came out with a sequal because it a very fun racer... with Star Wars thrown in as the theme.

Shadows of the Empire: N64
Star Wars: Rebel Assault was an old PC game that has been a favorite of mine for about 12 years now! Alot of people dislike this one, but I personally love it!

there was a sequel for ps2.
I liked the snes games the best and the rouge squadren series as well and jedi starfighter

Thank god someone said it, I was almost having a fit cause no one else had said it.
Anywho I don't think I've really played a bad Star Wars game other then Rebel Assult. The Super Star Wars games rocked, as did the early Gameboy one. SHadows of the Empire, X-Wing series, Ep 1 Racer, Rogue Squadron, hell even Star War Rebellion had its charms. But yeah Tie Fighter FTW
X-Wing was great. I actually bought a CD of Ebay recently. The original 3.5 discs I bought years ago didn't hold up too well. Most of the games from Lucas Arts were made very well.
