Man, how radical was this game?
Before someone left it at my house, I had never played a RPG game at all.
I was always more into Mario, Street Fighter, Madden type stuff, but I got addicted to Final Fantasy 3 after about 5 minutes.
For a Super Nintendo game, I was pretty much blown away. It was really long(but not boring), had way better music than most snes games I had played, and it seemed more like a movie than a game. You actually got interested in the plot & the characters. And what a badass group of characters, too. Shadow, Locke, Edgar with his chainsaw...there were like 13 or 14 characters, and they were all pretty cool. Unlike the modern Final Fantasy games, where you have MAYBE one cool lookin' character, and the rest just look like androgynous wimps with AIDS.
Anyone else really like this game, and wish Square woulda kept making them like this?

Shadow and his dog Interceptor, both were bada**ess!!
Sabin was my fave character, I liked how you input commands to initiate special moves!

The best FF game yet. No other one comes close even though they are good.
My fiancee usually doesnt get RPGs, but she LOVED FF3. It's such an all around great game and according to me, the best in the franchise.

I loved Kefak's character, he was such an jerk, but also delightfully psycho. and that laugh, that laugh just drove me crazy, cause it was so funny...and I loved his themesong. He was spineless and a chicken...and his quote at the end of the game "You all make me sick, you sound like chapters from a self-help booklet" when the characters are telling him what they found in this dying world.

Yeah, and what about Ultros, the purple octopus?
That guy was a pretty great badguy.
Definitely one of my favorite characters in the game.
the best thing about this game aside from the story is that besides the common fighter, black mage, etc. class. is that most characters had their special talents and personality...
Shadow had his ninja skills such as throwing and at random times interceptor would come outta nowhere and attack

I liked Kekfa too. I mean he killed an emperor, beat up a bunch of espers, and destroyed the world. I used to call him the Joker when I first played this game.

Yeah, the music was retardedly good for a snes game.
Go-Go's theme was 100% pure great.
