Well, most video games are Japanese...unless you're just talking about imports that were only released in Japan. Then I would have to say Dracula X: Rondo of Blood for the PC Engine, Gradius II for the PC Engine and Arcade, and Rockman & Forte for the Super Famicom.

The only one I've ever played that was never dubbed for US and in its original language was a game called 1999, which was possibly from 1992.

It basically played like a board game on the screen with it takes place between months and years before 1999, and there was alien's inhabiting the Earth who were slowly destroying it and desecrating it and if you're in first place by 1999's end, the aliens take you away to space.

That's the jist I got out of it.

Unfortunately, I don't have many Japanese import games...so tied for first place are "Klonoa" for PS1 and "Klonoa: Empire of Dreams" for GBA. Sadly, the very first one is just a demo. A close second is "Inuyasha: Feudal Fairy Tale", also for PS1. The only games I have in actual Japanese.

There's this Famicom game about a fat, lovesick, penguin. Man, it was pretty cute. I think it's called Pen Pen or Peng Peng or something like that? Anyway, the whole object of the game is to avoid food so that you don't get fatter and eat the DIET PILLS and then your lady love will love you again because you'll be fit.

I like Hajime no Ippo: All Stars, Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam, and the Japanese versions of Dance Dance Revolution. My fiance is a big fan of the Super Robot Wars series.
