what games at which stores do you remember being able to play (or at least watch) video game demos?

I remember:

Little Nemo for NES at Sears

Super Mario World at Toys 'R Us

Legacy of the Wizard for NES at a local crappy store (one of my favorite games of all time)

I remember being at a mall with my aunt when I was very little and they had a demo machine I remember two of the games were little mermaid and rescue rangers both for the ness

also at the px on the base near where I used to live they had demos of the first two bonk games for whatever system it was on and a power ranger game for genesis later on and mk 1 on the snes (the toned down one)

I remember the demos. I remember with the SNES target and some other places had this pad with some games, and when you pressed the certain game, you would get information about that game. I remember I would always go to retail stores just to try out the games.

The places I'd go to the most common SNES demo was Super Mario World. Though I do remember seeing Star Fox in quite a few places after that game came out.

For the Genesis it was either Sonic 1 or Sonic 2.

The only place I saw a TG16 was Toys R Us, they switched off demoing Bonk 1 and 2.

This may sound odd but I once saw a demo of Donkey Kong Country in the Hardware/Sports Section of Sears at a local mall.

I remember playing that as well, like wise with Mario 64.

I also remember playing Virtual Boy at Wal*Mart.

I know Target use to have game demos going back in the day, likewise with Service Merchandise.

Nintendo used to have a kiosk in which you pressed a button for a particular game and were then shown a short movie about it. Anyone else remember these?

Racing Simulation Monaco Grand Prix on the Dreamcast

That is all I can think of

                    I also remember:

In a Virgin Megastore, There was a pod where you could watch videos of new games in action. You highlighted the video you wanna watch by waggling the arcade joystick, press a button (twice) and the game video of your choice will play.

The only 2 videos I remember from that pod were:

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 on the Mega Drive
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: Tournament Fighters on the Super Nintendo
