I'm really sick of paying rediculous amounts of money for just the game itself plus shipping and handling for games off of ebay when just a few years ago those same games were in 25 cent boxes at yard sales...

does anyone know a good website, that is like ebay, that would have a better selection and possibly be cheaper?

Here in NE Ohio there is a local chain of stores called The Exchange. They sell used CDs and vinyl, plus they have a great selection of used games. Most of the NES games are $1!

that's awesome. apparently the states has a lot of awesome stores like that. I live in canada and we have hardly anything. our game stores give you like $2 for brand new games you try to sell to them, and their used games are all crap and still pretty expenive.

this site http://www.playerchain.com/ is pretty cool, but again only for the US.. so i'm out of luck as usual

really?

all the FuncoLands here turned into GameStops like...more than 5 years ago.

Hmmm...odd.

I went to a place last week called "Movie Trading Company", and I saw NES, SNES, Genesis games for less than $3.

value village is my store of choice
yesterday i was at good will and i found a snes with 2 controllers and the mouse with pad for 25 bucks i was going to buy it but i got a lack of money and i cant save to my life

i made some wicked scores such as:
nintendo (just system)
- controllers r easy to find
- the console had the v/a plugs so i didnt need the tv cable thing
- no power cord but u dont need the original plug
super nintendo (just system)
- no controllers but controllers are easy to find
- no cord to plug to tv buti got a cord from my n64
- and the plug i need to buy since its not like the nintendo plug that u can use anything plug
genesis
- with box (now thats a find)
- hooks up and two 3 and 6 button controllers
atari 2600 silver
- 2 games
- a controller that i have no clue what game its for
nintendo 64
- one controller
- cords

here r my game score:
nintendo:
- m c kids
- blades of steel
- super mario bros (this is the easiest game to find)

genesis:
- nba jam with plastic box case with manual and a poster

gamecube:
- tony hawk underground (mint condition, still in wrapper, got it for 2.99 and give it to my cousin since his got gamecube)

stuff i seen that i wish i had money to buy
a colicovision with 11 games and steering wheel for 100 with tax

www.gametz.com

You can buy games, sell them, or trade them. I use it a lot, it's nice.

I'm in Niagara falls, and don't have a car the only good things hear are thrift stores, i worked at value village and they only ever had games I already had or crappy ones. Never tried good will, but I should, and I haven't seen a salvation army in a long time. They have this place in saint catherines called that's entertainment, it's pretty awesome, they have vhs and dvds and every game system, really great finds there, some of the stuff is kind of expensive or they give basically nothing for trade ins. I'd go more often once I get myself a car.

thanks for the websites though, i'll check them out.

I go to gamecrazy for my games and holy shit are they good. I got my Genesis (1994 type) there in 2005 for an impressive deal!
