What do we have here? These new little wii-mote jackets nintendo is packaging with it's new shipments world wide.

I haven't gotten my hands on one of these yet. But like everyone else I've went to nintendo, registered my wii and requested they send me some, They are free, even shipping is payed by nintendo, everyone with a wii should get a few of these. If for no other reason then free swag.

But when mine come in, I wonder if I'm gonna use them. I mean they look strange. IMO it makes a wiimote vaguely resemble a Q-TIP.

So Ive just gotta ask, When you get your free set, Are you gonna use em? Or are you like the other 90% of the population. You decided to pick them up cause they're
free?

Personally as strange as they look, They seem practical to me, No more worrying when I let my four year old nephew play wii sports baseball, "he loves his baseball"

My only wonderment about these new jackets would be. how am I going to alter them to still allow my wii motes to charge in the nyko wii charge station, Im sure some skillfully placed incisions would allow one to come up with something though.

Get a free set Check it out.

I had no idea what the devil these were until I realized, "Oh. Official Nintendo made rubber guards." Or Wiimote condoms. Anyway, I also ordered them because they are free. I also ordered the replacement wrist straps when they were first offered. I got them and the string thickness was the same as the ones I had on my Wiimotes. Those showed up very quick. So those who ordered the jackets should get them fairly quickly when they start shipping them.

Apparently people are still having trouble holding onto the controller thus causing Nintendo to take another precaution. Whether one likes this or not, at least Nintendo frequently offers free items to its customers.
