well, with the final day to wait for dracula x chronicles, people at the gamefaqs.com boards are going nuts waiting for its release, which had me thinking, which classic castlevania do u like?

Who doesn't like "Symphony of the Night" and "Aria/Dawn of Sorrow" are awesome too, as well as "Portrait of Ruin"...

although SOTN is still the best to me, they still need to make another classic like that.

I will say that the new "sorrow/Portrait" games are awesome but I want the Belmonts back and maybe Alucard and create a new castlevania but with that old classic feel

The Playstations's Symphony of the Night is, in my opinion, one of the best games of all time.

How much should I pay for it? I'd like to buy a copy on eBay.

I think I'd ultimately have to end up paying around 30 bucks for it, with shipping and tax included.

Is it worth 30 of my hard earned dollars mattnash?

Hmmm, 30 bucks eh? It is a great game, but you could probably find it cheaper somewhere.

EDIT: You know, you may not be able to. I just got through looking around the net trying to help you out and I couldn't find it less than $40. In fact, new games where in the hundreds. I say go for it.

I love all the games I've played, but I feel the need to mention the 3d Castlevanias on the N64, which were sadly underrated.

Those were great games, but, IMO, they failed to capture the magic of the 2d adventures

I think Symphony of the Night has been the best so far. I liked Aria of Sorrow, and Lament of Innocence. And I like turtles.

SOTN, it's to castlecania fans what FF VII is to FF fans, except we're much more cool.

Also, I liked Super Castlevania IV and Bloodlines was an interesting instalment.

Super Castlevania IV for the Super Nintendo was my favorite one. The first one is my second favorite. I also loved circle of the moon if were counting the handheld ones also.
