I was playing the Atari last night and wow it bring back memories. so do you have or owned a atari before?

we had an atari untill 1989 when I got my NES and my parenst sold the atari, I always thought that was a dumb move, it had some great games. Few of my favorites were Chopper COmmand, Yars' Revenge, and Kool-aide man.
Yea I like Chopper Command I was playing that last night and Pac-man.
Pitfall, Amidar, Frogger, Ms. Pac Man, Keystone Kapers, Frostbite, Dolphin, indeed, Atari had some worthy games.
yep, I wish I could play Fast Food, again.
It's always nice to pop in Activision Hits Remixed for the PSP/PS2 (or any Atari compilation) and relieve the true glory days of home gaming. I do hope we start getting more of these compilations as is rumored for the PSP. Gaming was a different experience years ago and much like today with achievements on the 360, I used to love taking a pic of the screen of a particular game and receiving a patch in the mail. Yes kids, we even had "achievements" 27 years ago.

oh yeah, and it was pretty fun.
My neighbors still had an Atari back in the late 80's-early 90's. We played this game called "Pit Stop." Or maybe it was "Pitfall." One or the other.

I loved the atari 2600 and 7800. Wich one did you own TMNT? No love for robot tank in this thread?
I liked robet tank, but if thats the one with night combat I also hate it.
That game was pretty neet when you let your emagination kick in.
I've played an atari copilation game for playstation and it had old tv comertials for robot tank and other games. I wish I could show yall. Are there any atari comertials here ?

It had day and night combat. Also certain parts of your tank could be damaged. Your control,monitor,radar,tank gun could all be damaged. It even had weather conditions like being slippery in snow or slow in mud. Kind of an advanced game for that time period on the 2600 when you think about it.
i was unfortunate to have one but i got to borrow my neighbor's because they are well-off than us
