Hi

Can any of you guys help me on Sonic Rivals 2?

I am playing as Tails and I am up against Espio trying to take down Eggman's Caterpillar boss. I try the usual dart attack (press the jump button twice quickly) , but the boss remains unharmed and I end up getting hurt. Can someone please help me defeat this monstrosity?
